Class Description:

Acting as a follow-up workshop to my Etsy workshop, this class will go beyond the basics of Etsy to examine several online platforms and tools that can benefit you as an entrepreneur. This class is open to people who attended my first workshop AS WELL AS NEWCOMERS!

The class will be a lecture and discussion format, so please come with questions! I will have pens and outlines for everyone; you may take notes on the outlines provided, but if you think you will want more room, please bring a notebook.

You will leave the class with a plethora of information on how to structure your online presence so that it best serves your business or your creations. It will also teach you about bridging the gap from crafter to entrepreneur. You will also make connections with other people at this course for future learning and networking.

Topics Covered:

•Selling online — What format is best for you? Pros and cons of certain selling platforms.

•Blogging and Social Networking — Blogging platforms, the purpose and potential for blogging, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter

•Websites — Making your own website; platform capabilities and options

•Logos and Branding — We will discuss the importance of this aspect of your business and talk about ways to create a logo and brand your business on your own or with readily available resources.

Sadie Rose is a writer, designer, stylist and vintage clothier. She owns a brick and mortar store in Paradise, CA where she admires the amazing sunsets and raises her 10-year-old son.
