3 classes, February 27 2015, March 6, & 13 2015 6-8 pm. Instructor will be available for an hour after each class to assist students and answer questions.
Do you play/watch video games? Ever wonder just how they create an environment to destroy or manipulate in movies and games? Here we will start you on the path to creating your own objects and environments with basic 3D modeling and texturing, using both Photoshop and Autodesk Maya.
• Introduction to use of software, Photoshop and Autodesk Maya
• Creation, texturing and manipulation of basic shape, such as a cube
A computer and mouse or access to one. Download a trial version of Autodesk Maya (3D application). This must be ready before class. Otherwise it will be VERY hard to follow.
I am a Media artist with intentions of getting into film and have practiced and applied my degree in Game Development, Special Effects and Advertising as well as Graphic Design. I am also an activist and Conservationist at heart and have multiple projects to support my passions.
