It is with gratitude for the space and resources that local talent and conduit-for-positive-energy JOHNNY DUTRO brings forth the gift of “MYRIAD WONDER”, a body of work that began its life within him ten years ago. This artistic display first took shape while communing with plant medicines on solo journeys in the depths of the natural world and now finds its loving culmination at IDEA FAB LABS in the form of a completely new gallery exhibit.

Johnny’s art is inspired by the Tao, Spirit, and the ways of our indigenous ancestors. The fusion of native life, along with the modern technologies available at the Fab Lab, unite to create a vibrant artistic expression. The pieces in this series of mixed medium sculptures are being crafted from found objects and driftwood salvaged off the north coast of California and will incorporate an exploration of a spectrum of resources including: LED photons, laser-cut landscapes, Himalayan salts, and digital paintings generated in Alchemy. They are vivid, yet simple in fluid form. Channeling his personal discoveries, Johnny is compiling this fresh body of works with the intention of stimulating an emotional experience for the participants of the exhibition through his brightly colored and intriguing sculptural visions.
