When a human reaches out to lay their mark on the physical world around them, it is inevitable that the world reaches back. For our next gallery exhibition, Idea Fab Labs is proud to present TERRAFORM, a new collection of works from artist ELIJAH PFOTENHAUER that explores this reciprocal and symbiotic relationship between individual and environment.

Built from wooden bones and acrylic flesh, this body of work stands as a living reflection of it’s creator, offering a stunning glimpse into the landscape of his soul. Originally from Santa Cruz, ELIJAH (aka PAINTED LADDER) is known for his energetic portraitures and striking murals that simultaneously serve as candy for the eye and a vehicle for uplifting social commentary. Delving deep into the potential of the Fab Lab’s tools and the inspiring shift into a fresh environment, he has taken his creative development to brave new places.
