Karl Erickson has a BSc in Mechatronic Engineering from Chico State. He is the Electronics Zone Manager for Idea Fab Labs and works on electronics everyday at his regular job, both as a technician fixing broken things and as an engineer designing his own equipment. He failed making his first soldering project when he was 9 but he has gotten better since then.
WARNING: You will be handling solder containing lead in this class. Soldering does not present a great health hazard as you will only get the solder on your hands and this can be washed off, but be aware that we are not using lead free solder.
