In this incomprehensibly-expansive existence of subjective realities we call life, the filter through which we perceive the world is just as important as what is perceived. For our next gallery exhibit, Idea Fab Labs is very pleased to host the debut of aspiring creator MAX KOKINAKES and his collection of works entitled “LENSES”.

For months now Max has been toiling restlessly to assemble an artistic body of work that incorporates both his learned set of skills and his experimental aspirations, which can be more deeply appreciated when viewed through each of the individual ‘lenses’ that have guided his expressive development.

His first lens was that of a woodworker, ever meticulous and a purpose-driven by practical functionality. Next was through the technological craftsmanship of 3D-modeling, which led to a broader vision of structural possibility. And later, as an admiring onlooker of the rich colors and striking contrast in graffiti art. All of these perspectives and more comprise a kaleidoscope of experience that can now be viewed as a focused group of tangible objects.
