With infinite patience, the fury of fire and adaptable might of water assault the stoney edges of what is. Ultimately, cracks begin to slither across the calcified walls of experience and circumstance until, with one miraculous gasp, the shadowed womb of possibility bursts forth revealing greatness once thought to be unachievable. A finer form is realized, and the cycle begins anew.

For IDEA FAB LAB’s next exhibition, we are proud to welcome back return incubator artist JOHNNY DUTRO and his new collection of reverent reflections entitled ALTARS OF THE ELEMENTS.

Originating as mere electrical impulses in a human brain and evolving into meticulously assembled shrines, these works are a tangible testament to the power of a person’s potential and a humble offering of gratitude to the uncountable ingredients of existence that comprise all we know. Born of both digital and analog methods, their rich wooden components offer a timeless aesthetic, while layered mirror inlays provide an unsuspecting portal to meditative sanctuary.
